# Trunk Harness Installation

## Connecting Trunk Harness to Inverter

<Steps>
  <Step title="Insert connector">
    Connect the trunk harness into the inverter, ensuring the white tab is down (away from the inverter).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Lock connector">
    Push the white tab up until you hear a **click**, indicating the connector is fully seated and locked in.

    <Note>
      If the tab doesn't move up, push the connector in deeper and try again.
    </Note>

To disconnect trunk harness from inverter, slide the white tab down to unlock, press the center of the square latch, and pull the cable away.

## Connecting Trunk Harness to Battery Blocks

  <Step title="Open cover">
    Open the battery's hinged cover.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Insert harness">
    Align the metal end of the harness with the battery slots and push it in until you hear a **click**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Secure cover">
    Close the cover. Use a T25 screwdriver to tighten the screw using 3.0 Nm torque.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Organize cables">
    Push the plastic fir tree clips on the harness into the holes on the battery blocks to keep the wires tidy.
  </Step>

<Warning>
  LFP and NMC battery blocks use the same wall brackets and covers but cannot be mixed behind the same inverter. Contact Lunar for NMC battery blocks to service or expand existing sites.
